Inspired by his deep love of music, this piece pays homage to one of Gerrick’s top musical influences, Victor Wooten, whose album A Show of Hands remains a defining work. Designed with fluidity in mind, the painting can be oriented in multiple directions each revealing hands in the act of creating  music. Look closely and you’ll see gestures that echo the movements of a conductor, a bassist, a pianist, even a saxophonist. No matter the angle, the hands are always in motion, always creating.
