ART COLLECTING 101

1. Forget what you think you're supposed to like. Start with what makes you stop. What makes you look twice. What you can't stop thinking about. You don't need an art degree to know when something speaks to you.

3. Don't buy art because it matches the furniture. Don't collect what somebody else tells you will be valuable someday. Fill your walls with pieces that say something about who you are, what you've experienced, and what you believe is worth looking at.
